
A grenade attack took place near Srinagar's Khanyar police station
Srinagar:
Four policemen including a Central Reserve Police Force personnel are injured after suspected terrorists threw a grenade at them in Srinagar this evening. The attack took place near the Khanyar Police Station.
The grenade exploded and caused injuries to an Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of the CRPF and one ASI and two constables of the Jammu and Kashmir Police.
The injured have been taken to a hospital for first-aid, the police said.
A search has been launched to arrest the attackers.
