Ambala:
Six professors and two students from a Haryana college were killed this morning when the bus they were in was hit by a truck.
Eighteen people were injured --seven seriously -- when the college bus was hit by the truck that eyewitnesses say was traveling on the wrong side of a highway in Ambala. The seriously injured were taken to Chandigarh's PGI Hospital. The others were admitted to Civil Hospital in Ambala.
The driver of the truck fled the scene of the accident and police have filed a First Information Report against him.
