Malda, West Bengal: Six people, including three children, were crushed under the wheels of the New Jalpaiguri-Howrah Shatabdi Express in Malda district today.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Prasun Bandyopadhyay said the people were crossing the tracks at around 7 am when they were run over by the speeding train.
The incident occurred near Baroduari under the Harischandrapur Police Station, around 90 km from the district headquarter, the SP said.
