Kosi river boat capsize: Eight people have been rescued, the police said (Representational)
Eight people have drowned after the boat they were travelling in capsized in Bihar's Kosi river, the police said. Seven people have been rescued. Local authorities said some 25 people were in the boat. Rescue teams along with the local police are still looking for survivors long after sunset. They said they are also trying to see if more bodies could be recovered.
