Jammu: Nine persons have been tested positive for dengue in the Jammu region, out of which two were undergoing treatment at different hospitals.
"While one patient is being treated at GMC, another is undergoing treatment at SMGS hospital. Seven people were discharged after treatment," Dr Baljeet Singh, Director of Health Service, Jammu said.
Two people from Jammu who were living out of Jammu and Kashmir were also tested positive but they took treatment out of the state, he said.
The official added that people should take precautions to stop the spread of the disease in the region.
