Mumbai:
The Aam Aadmi Party said in Mumbai today that it would contest elections from all 48 Lok Sabha seats in Maharashtra next year.
This was announced by AAP leader Manish Sisodia during a press conference held in Mumbai.
Stating that the AAP would also contest the Delhi assembly elections, Sisodia said that a government headed by "crony capitalists" should not be formed.
"The AAP will press for decentralisation of powers and participation of the people in policy making at the Central level," AAP leader Prashant Bhushan said.
He also said fundamental changes should be made in the police and bureaucratic system, so that they could be held accountable to the people.
