Ahmedabad: Former Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders Yogendra Yadav and Anand Kumar will address a day-long 'Swaraj Samvad' convention in Ahmedabad on May 25.

"As part of the nationwide 'Swaraj Abhiyan', a Swaraj Samvad will take place in Ahmedabad in the presence of Yogendra Yadav and Anand Kumar at Mehandi Nawaz Jung Hall in Paldi area," said national steering committee member of Swaraj Abhiyan Pravin Mishra in Ahmedabad on Saturday.

He said the topic of discussion for the programme will be "challenges before the country: road ahead".

Other speakers include the rights activists and senior advocates Girish Patel and Manishi Jani.

Mr Yadav and Mr Kumar are also likely to address an event at a local media club in the city, he said.

The Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP had recently expelled Mr Yadav, Prashant Bhushan, Mr Kumar and Ajit Jha for "anti-party" activities.

Swaraj Samvad is the initiative conceptualised by the Prashant Bhushan-Yadav duo to provide a platform for alternative politics.
