Comedian-lawmaker Bhagwant Mann's 'stand-up act' in Parliament has gone viral on social media and proved that a budget debate need not be all heavy and plodding.
Mann, an Aam Aadmi Party MP from Punjab, last week used satire to critique Finance Minister Arun Jaitley's budget, dwelling on the "Achche Din (good days)" slogan used by the ruling BJP during its election campaign.
His jokes spared none. "The Congress has achieved the impossible feat of securing fewer seats than Delhi's soaring summer temperature," he said.
