Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders Sanjay Singh and Raghav Chadha have been mentioned by the Enforcement Directorate in a chargesheet in the liquor policy case. The probe agency does not name them as accused in the case.
Raghav Chadha is mentioned in witness statements on a meeting held at the home of arrested former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia.
The chargesheet also mentions Arvind Kejriwal, Delhi Chief Minister and AAP chief, and former Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi.
In a statement, Raghav Chadha slammed media reports that he said called him an accused in an Enforcement Directorate complaint. He alleged "malicious propaganda" targeting him.
"I have not been named as an accused or even a suspect in any of the complaints filed by the enforcement directorate. There are no allegations whatsoever against me in the said complaints. It appears that in the complaint my name is mentioned as an attendee to some meeting though the basis of making such an allegation is not clear. I vehemently and unequivocally deny commission of any alleged offence in any manner, in relation to the said meeting or otherwise," Mr Chadha said.
News reports stating that I have been named as an accused by ED are false and malicious. I request the media to refrain from malicious reportage and issue a clarification failing which I'll be forced to take legal action.

Manish Sisodia was arrested in February in the case that involves alleged irregularities in the framing and implementation of a new liquor policy in Delhi, which was scrapped within nine months in a haze of allegations.
