The Aam Aadmi Party which came to power in Delhi with a massive victory last year will contest local body polls in Uttar Pradesh in 2018, a party spokesman said today.
AAP's regional spokesman Vaibhav Maheshwari said the decision on the assembly polls in the state will be taken by the party's parliamentary affairs committee in Delhi early next month.
He said the party is making efforts to strengthen its base in Uttar Pradesh and will field candidates at every level in local body polls to be held in 2018.
