In court today, Nupur appeared calm and kept her head down for most part of the proceedings. She ignored questions from the throng of reporters.
On a separate matter, the Supreme Court also clarified to the CBI today that Nupur Talwar can move freely in Delhi NCR and that does not restrain the investigating agency from taking action against her.
"Your apprehensions are misplaced. Our order doesn't restrain you from taking action against her," the court said.

The Judge asked the CBI whether they will arrest Nupur Talwar till the bail plea is heard, to which the CBI lawyer replied that the apex court should have "faith on them".

As the matter came up for hearing, the Judge said, "When this matter was listed before us yesterday we were of the impression that this is a plea concerning review petition pending before us. Now we have realised it is an independent application where petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail. We are therefore not inclined to hear the matter and referring this to Chief Justice of India to post before another bench"
An interesting drama played out over the last two days as the CBI carried out searches at Nupur Talwar's residence after the Ghaziabad court issued non-bailable warrant against her. She finally showed up in court today for the hearing on her bail application.
No arrest for Nupur Talwar yet, CBI tells Supreme Court
Before the court takes up Nupur Talwar's bail petition today, it will hear a clarification plea moved by the CBI on whether she is allowed free movement in the National Capital Region (NCR)- a sort of relief till the review petition is pending at the Supreme Court.
The Supreme Court had refused to accept Nupur's plea hearing yesterday. "This impression that she (Mrs Talwar) is a fugitive from justice, or that she is running away is absolutely incorrect," said her lawyer in court while seeking an urgent hearing of the case.
Wading her way through the crowd outside the Supreme Court, Nupur walked into the court premises accompanied by her lawyer.
CBI officials carried out searches at her south Delhi residence, and two other places, but did not find her there.
Wearing a green salwar kameez, Nupur arrived in court two days after the CBI court issued a non-bailable warrant against her; She had been untraceable since then.
