Malad, Mumbai: A 35-year-old advertising professional was allegedly murdered inside his home at an upscale residential complex in Malad in the suburbs of Mumbai.
Chetan Jahangir Bharadwaj's body was found on Wednesday in his flat on the 26th floor of the Rustomjee Towers housing society, in a pool of blood and bearing injury marks.
The police said beer bottles and chicken snacks were found in the flat.
Mr Bharadwaj, a resident of the Mira Road suburb, and had reportedly come to Malad for some work and had stayed over at this flat, which he owns, on Tuesday.
When calls to his phone went unanswered all of Wednesday, his family members came to the flat and found his body.
The police are questioning the delivery boy of the restaurant Mr Bharadwaj had ordered food from, to find out whether he had company at the time. CCTV footage is also being examined for clues.
