BJP leader Lal Krishna Advani, who turned 83 on Monday, had an unusual get-together over tea with Congress President Sonia Gandhi and party general secretary Rahul Gandhi in Parliament House premises.
As the two leaders were waiting for their cars to come at a Parliament Gate after the address of US President Barack Obama, Advani whose office is close by invited them for a cup
of tea. The two leaders readily agreed and as they were having tea, they came to know that it was the birthday of the BJP leader and soon followed the greetings.
During the course of the meeting, Sonia enquired did Obama, during his address to Parliament, use a teleprompter to which Rahul and Advani's daughter said yes.
Rahul also discussed movies with Advani.
The chance encounter was significant as it comes a day before the winter session begins and the Opposition is gearing up to attack the Government on a number of issues.
