Mumbai: Security around Shah Rukh Khan's home, Mannat, has been increased following threats from the Shiv Sena on his comments on the Pakistani players and the IPL auction.
Police have also detained over 15 people approaching Shah Rukh's house.
There were reports that Sena activists planned to gather round the star's home and protest in the afternoon on Sunday and that they would even offer him a ticket to Karachi.
Shiv Sena wrote to theatre owners in Mumbai on Sunday, to boycott screening Shah Rukh's upcoming release, My Name Is Khan, which hits theatres on February 12.
