Nagpur:
Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi today met the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat in Nagpur. The meeting came ahead of the assembly elections in Mr Modi's state Gujarat, where he will be seeking his fourth consecutive term.
Before the meeting, sources told NDTV that Mr Bhagwat is likely to advise the Chief Minister to include everyone in his campaigning for the state polls. This is after Mr Modi left out BJP's prominent Muslim faces as well as its leaders from Bihar from the list of star campaigners for the Gujarat assembly elections which will be held in two phases December this year.
Today's meeting came in the backdrop of BJP MP Ram Jethmalani saying earlier this week that the party should project Mr Modi as its Prime Ministerial candidate in the general elections in 20014.
