Puducherry:
Opposition AIADMK lawmakers today decided to contribute their one month's salary to the Jammu and Kashmir Flood Relief Fund.
AIADMK Deputy Legislature Party leader A Anbalagan, who announced the members' resolve during Zero Hour, said floods in Jammu and Kashmir have claimed several lives and caused
extensive devastation.
"On humanitarian grounds, we intend to contribute one month's salary to the relief fund," he said and requested Chief Minister N Rangasamy to announce government's
contribution.
Mr Rangasamy welcomed the member's suggestion.
