Sushma Swaraj has been undergoing tests for a kidney transplant

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, undergoing treatment for renal failure, today said she was touched by people's wishes and expressed deep sense of gratitude to those who even offered to donate her kidney.
64-year-old Swaraj also exuded confidence of being able to come out of the health condition with good wishes of people and blessings of God.
In a twitter post, Ms Swaraj had yesterday said she was admitted to the AIIMS due to kidney failure and has been undergoing tests for a transplant.
Her announcement, which many saw as setting of new standards of transparency, drew a flood of wishes from politicians as well as people from a cross section of society.
As soon as Ms Swaraj, known for helping people in distress, tweeted about her health condition, a large number of people on twitter wished her speedy recovery with some even offering to donate kidney to her.
