
AirAsia didn't divulge the exact number of discounted seats under the scheme
AirAsia is offering all-inclusive overseas flight tickets starting at Rs 3,999 in a limited-period promotional scheme. Under its "Mid-Year Sale", AirAsia is offering tickets from Bhubaneswar, Kochi and Visakhapatnam to Kuala Lumpur. Bookings under this AirAsia scheme - valid for travel till November 23, 2017 - can be made till June 25, the airline said on its website. Malaysia-based AirAsia is offering tickets priced at Rs 3,999 for one-way flights to Kuala Lumpur from Kochi, Tiruchirappalli and Bhubaneswar, as part of the scheme.
A search on the AirAsia India bookings portal showed one-way flights from Bhubaneswar to Kuala Lumpur in early November were being offered at Rs 3,999.
While AirAsia India didn't divulge the exact number of discounted seats under the scheme, it said: "Seats are limited and may not be available on all flights."
Some of the discounted all-inclusive fares offered under the scheme include flights from Mumbai to Kuala Lumpur, starting at Rs 6,490, and Mumbai to Bali (Rs 6,900). Also, Premium Flatbed flights from the financial capital of India to Kuala Lumpur and Bali started at Rs 14,900.00 and Rs 16,900.00 respectively, according to the AirAsia India website.
AirAsia also offered connecting flights overseas from India through Kuala Lumpur starting at Rs 5,521. Some of these flights were Bhubaneswar-Kuala Lumpur-Singapore (starting at Rs 5,521), Kochi-Kuala Lumpur-Singapore (Rs 5,693), Kochi-Kuala Lumpur-Penang (Rs 5,907), Bhubaneswar-Kuala Lumpur-Penang (Rs 5,960), Mumbai-Kuala Lumpur-Singapore (Rs 8,189), Mumbai-Kuala Lumpur-Phuket (Rs 9,079), Kochi-Kuala Lumpur-Seoul (Rs 13,967), Kochi-Kuala Lumpur-Sydney (Rs 16,496) and Kochi-Kuala Lumpur-Auckland (Rs 19,850).
Also, AirAsia India - a joint venture between Tata Sons and Malaysian airline group AirAsia - is offering all-inclusive tickets starting at Rs 1,499 on select one-way flights under another limited-period scheme. This AirAsia India offer requires flyers to make advanced bookings, which can be made till June 25. The scheme is applicable on travel till September 30 this year.

Lucrative offers and discounts are making off season travelling more popular as there was 27 per cent growth in airline searches for domestic destinations for this monsoon compared to the same period last year, according to online travel agency Cleartrip.
Airlines operating in the Indian market ferried over one crore passengers in May, data from aviation regulator DGCA or Directorate General of Civil Aviation showed. Indian airlines carried 101.74 lakh or 1.01 crore passengers last month as compared to 86.69 lakh passengers in May 2016, registering a growth of 17.36 per cent in domestic air traffic, it said.
