Kochi:
Former defence minister and senior Congress leader AK Antony on Saturday found nothing wrong in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's statement mentioning Balochistan in his Independence Day address to target Pakistan.
"I don't find any wrong in the Prime Minister's statement on Balochistan," he told reporters in Kochi.
Mr Antony also said Pakistan was behind terror activities in Jammu and Kashmir.
"As a former Defence Minister, I know very well about the role being played by Pakistan in Jammu and Kashmir," he said.
Mr Antony urged the government to give utmost importance to solving the problems of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
In his Independence Day speech, PM Modi had talked about the situation in Pakistan occupied Kashmir, Gilgit and Balochistan and said people from there have thanked him for raising their issues.
