For once, classical musician Hariprasad Chaurasia did not speak through his flute, but moved his audience with his words.
The 75-year-old flautist is one of NDTV's 25 global living legends, honoured by President Pranab Mukherjee this evening.
"I was five and a half when my mother passed away, and I have been struggling since then. I enjoy struggle," the legendary musician said.
His advice for the young generation was to "always remain a student. When you leave this world, you take only with education and music with you."
