AN Tiwari to replace Wajahat Habibullah as the new CIC

New Delhi: AN Tiwari is going to be the country's new Chief Information Commissioner (CIC). His name was sent to the President on Wednesday afternoon.

He replaces Wajahat Habibullah.

Ansari is currently an information commissioner in the Central Information Commission. He will be sworn in as the CIC after December this year when he retires.
