A 45-year-old engineer from Andhra Pradesh who was kidnapped in Assam a week ago by suspected Bodo militants has been rescued by the police.
Engineer Bathula Ankamma Rao, an employee of the Bolineni Seenaiah Company, was looking after a Power Grid Corporation project in the Chirang district.
