Another arrest in Ajmer blast case
Ajmer: Another saffron link to the Ajmer blast case, now in Rajasthan Anti-Terror Squad (ATS) net.

Rajasthan's Anti Terror Squad (ATS) has arrested one more person named Mahesh Vasani from Godhra in Gujarat.

Mukesh Vasani , who was arrested late on Wednesday evening, is alleged to have planted the the bomb that killed three people in October 2007.

"He was an important part of the execution and was the one who had planted the bomb inside the dargah premises," said Satyender Singh Ranawat, Additional SP, ATS.

Vasani is the fifth accused arrested in the case and the fourth with RSS links. He is believed to be an RSS worker based in Godhra.

According to the sources in ATS, Vasani was close to Sunil Joshi, the mastermind of the blast.

"We have got police custody of the accused till November 9 and with the interrogation we expect to get more leads in the case," said Ranawat.

The ATS had on Tuesday arrested Harshad Solanki who has strong VHP links. And with another sangh worker in the ATS net, the saffron links to the Ajmer blast have deepened.
