Tirupati:
Army Chief General V K Singh offered prayers at the famous hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala temple today.
Mr Singh along with his wife witnessed an hour long "Abhishekam" (celestial bath) conducted for the presiding deity at the inner sanctum of the shrine, temple sources told Press Trust of India (PTI).
Immediately after the worship, they left the hills, the sources said.
