Jammu: An Army porter was injured in firing by terrorists along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district.

"At approximately 1700 hours today, in a militant stand-off fire, one civilian porter got injured in forward post (along LoC in Saujian belt of Poonch District)," PRO, Defence, Jammu, Lt Col Manish Mehta said.

The condition of the porter Rameez Raja,22, is stable and further reports awaited, the PRO said.
