"Shankar is a genius in visual effects and in directing actors. Whenever I work with creative directors my movies are successful. It doesn't matter if it's an Indian movie, a German movie or an American movie. The key thing is, when it is a good creative director who has a great vision, the film is successful and director Shankar has it," he said.
Though the former Governor said he doesn't have any favourite actors to work with, he added, "It would be terrific to work with Indian actors". (Also read: Suriya Meets his Fitness Idol Arnold Schwarzenegger)
He added that he was enthusiastic on "being back" as Terminator.
"We've just finished filming Terminator 5 and it's coming out next year by the beginning of July. It's nice to be back again as it's the kind of movie that really propelled my career 30 years ago. In a way I'm back to entertainment after my fitness stint and political life as Governor," the action star gushed.
On the fitness front, Schwarzenegger admitted that he still works out at the gym every morning. "As we get older it's important that we work out to stay fit," he explained. Similar to the fitness crusade he launched 45 years ago to inspire people to take up fitness, he said, "I'm now on a crusade against the use of fossil fuels that leads to global warming."
The two-time Governor of California also met Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa and discussed issues of mutual interest. (Also read: Arnold Schwarzenegger Meets Jayalalithaa in Chennai)
When asked if actors make good leaders, he reasoned, "Anyone with a vision who is passionate about their work can become a leader."
