Arvind Kejriwal got interim bail from the Supreme Court today

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal got interim bail from the Supreme Court today, after he challenged his arrest by the Enforcement Directorate in the liquor policy case. The Supreme Court said he must follow conditions while on bail.

Here are five key points

  1. Mr Kejriwal will have to pay a personal bond of Rs 50,000 before he can be released from jail.

  2. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief cannot go to the Chief Minister's Office or the Delhi Secretariat, though he can campaign for the Lok Sabha elections.

  3. He is not to sign any official file without Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena's permission.

  4. Mr Kejriwal cannot speak about the Delhi liquor policy case, or discuss the allegations against him.

  5. The Delhi Chief Minister cannot contact any witness in the case.
