'CBI is Centre's Slave', Says AAP, Alleges Files Taken From Kejriwal's Office

New Delhi: Arvind Kejriwal, after alleging that the CBI had raided his office for a file linked to corruption in the Delhi cricket body that Finance Minister Arun Jaitley headed in the past, tweeted today that the investigators read the file but "left it" after his media briefing.
 The Delhi Chief Minister also tweeted that documents seized from his office during the raid that lasted 11 hours had "no relation" to allegations against his principal secretary Rajender Kumar, which, the CBI had said, was the reason for the raids at the Delhi Secretariat on Tuesday.
 "We want a strong CBI, not a slave CBI. The CBI raided the Chief Minister's office on directions from the Centre and took files not related to its probe," Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia told reporters.

Mr Kejriwal had said yesterday that the CBI raided his office to search for files on the DDCA or Delhi and District Cricket Association, which, he said, had Mr Jaitley's name. AAP alleges that there were financial irregularities when Mr Jaitley was the president of the Delhi cricket body for 13 years till December, 2013.

Mr Jaitley called the allegations "absolutely rubbish" and  said: " I don't think I should comment on rubbish."

AAP leader Saurabh Bhardwaj said: "There are rumours about widespread corruption in DDCA. Mr Jaitley was heading it for a long time. There were documents in the chief minister's office on this, as Mr Kejriwal takes care of all important documents, inquiries and vigilance documents."

Delhi government sources say the CBI went through every cabinet decision of the Kejriwal government since it took power in February, and seized a file related to a cabinet decision dated June 16.
