Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will join social activist Anna Hazare in his protest against the land ordinance today at the Jantar Mantar in New Delhi.
Mr Kejriwal, who was Anna's lieutenant in the anti-corruption movement three years ago, came to the Maharashtra Sadan and met the Gandhian for the first time after the two had gone apart two years ago when Aam Aadmi Party was formed.
Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia made the announcement about Mr Kejriwal's participation in the protest in the afternoon which may be of symbolic nature.
While Mr Sisodia parried a question whether Kejriwal would share the dais, Mr Hazare had earlier said that AAP leaders were welcome to sit with the protesters.
"We discussed about the Delhi election results. We also discussed about the Land Acquisition Ordinance and how AAP could extend support to him (Hazare)," Mr Sisodia said.
