New Delhi:
With the BJP reportedly telling the Lieutenant Governor this morning that they won't form the government in Delhi, the national capital could be heading for fresh elections.
Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung is now expected to meet the Congress and Aam Aadmi Party before recommending, possibly as early as tonight, the dissolution of the Delhi assembly - an option that both these parties have favoured.
AAP's Arvind Kejriwal, in a letter to Mr Jung today, asked for his meeting to be rescheduled for the evening and said, "I am sure you would already have had a discussion with BJP, which is the single largest party. I would be grateful if you could tell us what is their 'formal' stand on this issue."
