Arvind Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party has apologised for abusive remarks made against the Home Minister at a road-show in Delhi

The Aam Aadmi Party, headed by activist-turned-politician Arvind Kejriwal, has apologized for abusive remarks that were made about Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde at one of its meetings in Delhi yesterday.
The offensive comments were made by Rajeev Laxman, who anchors a show on MTV. He is not a member of Mr Kejriwal's party, but was helping its candidate Shazia Ilmi to campaign in Delhi on Wednesday.
A statement said the party "is against the use of any foul language by its members or supporters. We stand for honest and clean politics and will continue to do so. We will also ensure that such mistakes are not repeated."
It also clarified, "Rajeev has already realized his mistake and apologised for his remarks. He has also clarified that AAP has nothing to do with his remarks and it was his mistake. "
The Aam Aadmi Party, which has positioned itself as a crusader against corruption, is making its debut in the Delhi elections, to be held on December 4.
