Arvind Kejriwal's press conference today, who will he 'expose'?
New Delhi: Who will Arvind Kejriwal target today? The activist-turned-politician has scheduled a press conference this afternoon, sparking off speculation that he may have lined up yet another 'expose' after alleging scandals involving Congress chief Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law Robert Vadra, External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid, BJP president Nitin Gadkari and the Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance group.

The press conference is on a day top Congress leaders are brainstorming in Surajkund, Haryana on the political situation, the economic challenges ahead and the UPA government's track record of fulfilling election promises.

Mr Kejriwal, the India Against Corruption (IAC) leader who parted ways with Anna Hazare and launched a political party, has repeatedly hit out at the Congress for alleged corruption.

He first alleged that Mr Vadra made crores through shady property deals with real estate group DLF, which got favours from the Congress-ruled Haryana government in a quid pro quo. The charges were dismissed by Mr Vadra, the state government and DLF.

Mr Khurshid was Mr Kejriwal's next target. He alleged the minister's Zakir Hussain charitable trust in Uttar Pradesh siphoned off central funds meant for the differently-abled by holding fake camps in Farrukhabad and other parts of the state. Mr Khurshid rebutted the charges, producing what he said were photographs of the camps held.

The BJP hasn't been spared either. Mr Kejriwal claimed Mr Gadkari had grabbed agriculture land acquired for a dam project in Maharashtra in collusion with the state government.

The Maharashtra government, he alleged, refused to give the unused land back to the farmers in 2000, but obliged Mr Gadkari. Farmer Gajanan Ghadge, who Mr Kejriwal had claimed as one of the victims of the scam, however said he was tutored by an associate of the IAC leader to speak against Mr Gadkari.

Mr Kejriwal also accused Prime Minister Manmohan Singh of allowing windfall profits to Mukesh Ambani's Reliance group over its contract to develop the natural gas field in the Krishna Godavari basin. He said the government appears to be leaning towards allowing Reliance to charge more for the gas and make a profit of Rs 43,000 crore.

While Reliance refuted the charges as irresponsible and made at the behest of vested interests, the oil ministry said all its decisions had been taken objectively.
