New Delhi: Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe is followed by 3,65,000 people on Twitter. He used to earlier follow just three people, but that number went up by one yesterday as he started following Home Minister Rajnath Singh.
This morning, Mr Singh returned the courtesy by following Mr Abe, who is hosting Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Japan.
Mr Abe who tweets exclusively in Japanese, had earlier started to follow Mr Modi, who is a superstar on Twitter with 6.06 million people following him at last count.
Before Mr Modi joined the list, Mr Abe, who joined Twitter in January 2012, followed only his wife and a Japanese politician.
