PM Modi lunched with Queen Elizabeth at Buckingham Palace
London:
Prime Minister Narendra Modi today spent an afternoon at the Buckingham Palace, where he had lunch with Queen Elizabeth and was shown items from the Royal Collection.
The royal artefacts, brought out specially for PM Modi, included a lace shawl made from yarn spun by Mahatma Gandhi.
As the images were posted on social media, comments were flying about the Koh-i-Noor, the 105 carat diamond that was taken from India and now adorns the British crown.
