New Delhi: The website of veteran BJP leader LK Advani has been hacked again -- this is the second time in three months. Mr Advani also happens to be the only leader of the tech-savvy party whose website has been targeted.
The last time the site's homepage - lkadvani.in - was hacked, the matter was not brought to the attention of the law enforcement authorities. This time it is the blogs section -- blogs/lkadvani.in. Sources close to Mr Advani said now he would decide on whether legal steps would be taken.
The hackers, purportedly supporters of Pakistan, had left slogans and objectionable comments. The site had been inactive for some time, which apparently made the job easier for them.
Mr Advani had started the site and posted a number of blogs before the 2009 general elections, when he was being projected as the prime ministerial candidate of the BJP.
Today, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, or RSS, the ideological mentor of the BJP, launched its Twitter handle. Its first post read, "Namaskar, RSS is officially entering into the wonderful world of communication. Welcome to all to our official twitter handle."
