Tulips are one of the world's most recognisable flowers and synonymous with beauty and love. And what better place to view the blooming of tulips than Kashmir, known as the paradise on Earth. The tulip garden in Srinagar, formerly known as Siraj Bagh, was open to the public on Thursday, March 25. On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared the news of the opening of Tulip garden on Twitter. Through the tweet, PM Modi even urged the people to visit Jammu and Kashmir and enjoy the picturesque views of the Tulip Garden Festival in Srinagar where nearly 15 lakh flowers of more than 64 varieties are going to uplift your spirits.
According to All India Radio News, the authorities at the tulip garden have released a set of protocols in view of the coronavirus pandemic. According to the latest rules, no one will be allowed to enter the garden without mandatory face-masks. Visitors must follow all other SOPs in order to prevent any further spread of the pandemic.

Some even wished 'Happy Tulip Day' and requested all visitors to follow the coronavirus rules.
Besides tulips, Kashmir is also witnessing the flowering of almond trees. The Badamwari Garden in Srinagar was opened for visitors on March 21. One can view the delicate white and pink-hued flowers that are currently blooming on the almond trees in this picturesque location.
