In a video capturing the suffering of the people of flood-hit Assam, a father was seen crossing a submerged street along with his newborn.
The grim situation, however, failed to take away the smile off his face as he walked in the waist-deep water in Silchar.
The user who shared the video even compared it to Vasudeva who crossed the Yamuna carrying a baby Lord Krishna.
"Every day is Father's Day!" the user tweeted.
Assam is witnessing devastating floods that have affected over 47 lakh people in 32 of the 36 districts. Besides, more than 80 people have died in the floods and landslides in the state.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah dialled Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma twice yesterday to enquire about the state of affairs.
The flood situation has worsened in the state's Barak Valley region which has been cut off by rail and road. The Railways will run special relief trains in the region while one lakh litre fuel will be air-lifted. Besides, more National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) teams are being sent to the region.
