New Delhi: A little before 10 am, leads in Delhi showed Arvind Kejriwal, founder of the Aam Aadmi Party, ahead of Sheila Dikshit, the chief minister of the capital, who is looking for a fourth term.

"Our party doesn't worry about things like who will be chief minister. We worry about how to help the country," Mr Kejriwal said early this morning, a checked scarf wrapped tightly around him.

Then he went into his office to meditate, said his supporters, in between loud cheers as leads came in from different constituencies.

That meant many cheers - the party is having a spectacular Sunday so far - at 10 am, it was ahead in 24 of Delhi's 70 seats, just behind the BJP.

The BJP appears set to win the capital. But it will have to share its headline with the newbie Aam Aadmi Party's whopping debut.
