Kolkata: Mamata Banerjee has not been seen in public since her last campaign meeting earlier this month. The Chief Minister didn't speak even after exit polls predicted a second straight victory for her Trinamool Congress in West Bengal after voting across five states ended on Monday.
Party leaders have parroted: "Didi will speak on the 19th".
This morning, her master strategist Mukul Roy was among the first to visit her at her Kolkata home, which was awash in the party's signature colour blue and Trinamool flags.
Mr Roy was rehabilitated by Ms Banerjee earlier this year after months of estrangement.
Exit polls were unanimous in predicting a return for Ms Banerjee with a comfortable majority in the 294-seat assembly.
A breezy tweet from her key lieutenant Derek O'Brien's this morning was non-committal.
