At least 25 schools have been gutted in mysterious fires in Kashmir in the last few weeks.

The centre has told the Jammu and Kashmir government to ensure security at schools and make efforts to resume studies hit for over three months due to an ongoing unrest.
"The central government has asked the Mehbooba Mufti government two to three times to provide full security at schools and other educational institutions," Home Ministry spokesperson KS Dhatwalia told IANS.
He said Jammu and Kashmir Governor NN Vohra met Home Minister Rajnath Singh in New Delhi on Tuesday and apprised him about the situation in the state.
Efforts were on to reopen schools in the troubled valley, he added.
