Allahabad: Prime accused in the bomb attack on Uttar Pradesh Cabinet Minister Nand Gopal Gupta 'Nandi' was on Thursday remanded in judicial custody till December 3 by a court here.
Special Judge Subedar Yadav sent Rajesh Pilot alias Anand Shandilya to judicial custody after he was produced before the court amid tight security.
Pilot was arrested by a UP police team from Mumbai on Tuesday. He was subsequently taken to Lucknow and brought here early this morning.
Pilot has been accused of having masterminded the July 12 bomb attack which had killed two persons and badly injured the minister allegedly at the behest of local SP leader Dilip Mishra, who is in jail in connection with another case.
