Aurangabad, Maharashtra: A major fire broke out in a temporary firecrackers market and destroyed over 200 big and small shops in Aurangabad this morning, officials said.
There were no casualties as all the shopkeepers and customers managed to escape before the blaze intensified.
However, at least a dozen four-wheelers and more than two dozen two-wheelers parked in the vicinity were engulfed in the blaze and destroyed.
The blaze, the cause of which is not known, was brought under control in an hour.
