New Delhi: The Australian government has released a police dossier of attacks on Indians over the past year.
This after India's External Affairs Minister, S M Krishna, urged Australian Foreign Minister Stephen Smith to hand over details of police action taken in cases of violence against Indians.
The dossier was handed over after Smith telephoned Krishna on January 11 to express his condolences over the murder of Indian student Nitin Garg.
The dossier shows nearly half of those arrested between March 2009 and January 5 - three days after the Garg killing - were under 18.
