Notwithstanding SP chief Mulyam Singh Yadav's efforts to end the tussle between his two lieutenants, Azam Khan on Saturday rejected the party supremo's claim that he will soon patch-up with Amar Singh.
Yadav had said on Friday that "by the end of this Lok Sabha elections, the leaders will be seen on one dais".
Upset over party's joining hands with Kalyan Singh, who was Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister at the time of Babri Masjid demolition, he said Yadav's hope that he will soon patch-up with Amar could not be materialised so far undesirable elements favouring people of communal background are in the party".
"There is no question of my deviating from the stand taken against Kalyan's closeness to the SP at the behest of one single person," Khan said in an apparent reference to Amar.
He described the former BJP chief minister as an enemy of Muslims and accused him of hatching a conspiracy to demolish the Babri Mosque.
Khan also said Amar is insulting the old guards and trying to oust them.
