Ahmedabad:
Weeks after Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan screened his movie
Paa for Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, he is all set to become the brand ambassador of Gujarat.
After the screening of his movie Mr Bachchan had a word of praise for Modi: ''He has done some good work for his state, developmental work, and has made important contribution to the development of the state." (

Mr Bachchan had also indicated that he wasn't averse to associating himself with Modi's Gujarat. "If the CM wishes I can lend my voice and face to a documentary on tourism or some social issues in Gujarat,'' Amitabh had said.
However, talking to NDTV's Barkha Dutt on the programme The Buck Stops Here, Mr Bachchan said he was not endorsing Narendra Modi or his brand of politics; he was endorsing all the goodies that Gujarat has and need to be shown to promote tourism in the state.
"I'm supporting a state, not a brand of politics," says Amitabh Bachchan on his recent meeting with the Gujarat Chief Minister. (
