Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray has been discharged from Lilavati Hospital today, eight days after he was admitted to the suburban Bandra hosptial.
The 86-year old Sena patriarch was supposed to undergo endoscopy. But the doctors have deferred his treatment since his health has stabilised.
"The endoscopy has been deferred. His condition is now stable and we are closely monitoring his medical condition," Lilavati doctor Jalil Parkar said.
