Mumbai:
Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray, who has not been keeping well for sometime, was on Thursday admitted in a hospital here, party sources said.
"The Sena chief has been admitted in Lilavati hospital in Bandra for a routine check-up," Sena spokesperson Neelam Gorhe told PTI.
The 84-year-old Sena leader has been ailing for sometime and stopped attending party functions, leaving the day-to-day functioning of the party, which he founded four decades ago, to son Uddhav.
