Bangalore techies test negative for swine flu
Bangalore: Throat swab samples of two software engineers from Bangalore, which had been sent to the National Institute of Virology at Pune for analysis on May 7, have "tested negative", official sources said.

"Throat swabs of the duo, who were quarantined at Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Chest Diseases, here with suspected symptoms of H1N1 flu virus, tested negative at NIV", sources said.

The two engineers, who arrived at Bengaluru International Aiport (BIA) from US on May 7, were screened by the medical centre set up for the purpose and immediately sent to Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Chest diseases.
