Dehradun: A Bangladesh MP died after suffering a heart attack at the tourist resort of Mussoorie in Uttarakhand today.
Naasim Usman, who was the sitting MP from Narayanganj in Bangladesh, suffered a heart attack past midnight.
He was rushed to the Max Hospital Dehradun where he was declared dead early this morning, Dehradun District Magistrate B V RC Purushottam told PTI.
A resident of 99 North Chanser, Dhaka, Mr Usmaan was a sitting MP representing the Narayanganj seat in Bangladesh, the DM said.
He had come to Uttarakhand on a personal visit yesterday and put up at hotel in Mussoorie.
His body has been kept at the mortuary and officials of Bangladesh embassy have arrived here to take his body, Mr Purushottam said.
