Tamluk, West Bengal:
At least 15 people are missing after a boat capsized in Roopnarayan river near Kolaghat in East Midnapore district on Sunday.
"They took the boat for a joyride in the river...Suddenly the boat capsized. A few of them swam ashore, rest are still missing," Superintendent of Police Bastab Baidya said.
The police and other officials have rushed to the spot to search for the missing persons who came from Ultadanga in Kolkata for a picnic, he said.
